Overview

The Animal Services Advisory Board is charged with advising the Board of Commissioners on matters of concern regarding animal issues and services within Gates County, and to work with Animal Control on various policy concerns and issues. The board also reviews and makes recommendations as determined by the majority of the voting board members regarding ordinances relating to the control and welfare of animals in the County. 

Public Participation

Meetings of the Animal Services Advisory Board are a public function, and members of the public are invited to attend and permitted to speak within certain guidelines.
