Each county will have a five-member Board of Elections. Four members are appointed by the State Board of Elections for a two-year term on the last Tuesday of June in odd-numbered years. One member will be appointed by the governor to be chair of the board for a two-year term on the last Tuesday of June in odd-number years.
The County Boards of Elections within their respective jurisdictions shall exercise all powers and shall perform all the duties imposed upon them by law as stated in GS 163-33.
