Position Objectives:
NATURE OF WORK
Performs a variety of tasks in the recreation department which include receptionist duties, customer service, program registration, record keeping, data entry, filing, and may include support of special events, youth programs, as well as custodial and janitorial tasks. Other related work as required by director. Hours vary upon need, but typically during days, evenings, nights and weekends.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Required Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED
B. Required Skills:
● Knowledge of basic office practices and procedures including filing and the operation of standard office equipment
● Time-management and multitasking abilities
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to work with minimal supervision and maintain a flexible work schedule.
● Ability to exercise good judgment, flexibility, and sensitivity in response to changing situations and needs
● Ability to lift and carry, in solo and team lift situations, heavy sport, fitness, and janitorial related equipment.
● Must be able to perform daily tasks which include the following bodily movements: sit, stand, reach turn, climb, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crawl, push and pull frequently, grasp objects, use fine manipulation, write and operate office machines and equipment, and strength to safely perform lifting and carrying of items up but not limited to at least 50 pounds.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Acts as receptionist and greets and screens visitors.
● Provide administrative and office support
● Maintain accurate records of program participation and attendance
● Assist in preparing facility for programs and events
● Establish and maintain building cleanliness and organization.
● Monitor facilities, equipment and supplies to ensure adequate and appropriate functionality.
● Assist with safety oversight and emergency preparedness
● Performs other related duties as assigned by director and full-time staff.

Center Director; Full-Time Staff
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
