Technical Review, Planning Board, and Zoning Board of Adjustment

The Technical Review Committee is composed of:
  • Planning Director
  • Water Superintendent
  • Emergency Services Director
  • Soil Conservation Service
  • Fireman's Association
  • School Board/Superintendent's Office
  • Albemarle Regional Health Authority
  • NC Department of Transportation
  • NC Division of Coastal Management

Members: 7
Term Length: 3 years, members can serve two consecutive terms.
Method of Appointment: County Commissioners
Meeting Information: The Board meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 3:00 PM.  Meetings are subject to change and will be published in advance on the Gates County Planning Department website and/or in the Gates County Index
