Chamber Committees

The Gates County Chamber of Commerce relies on its committees, task forces, and councils to drive the programs that promote business within Gates County. We can't do it without our committees, get involved today!

We need individuals with diverse skills and ideas to help lead & develop the Gates County Chamber of Commerce.  These committees meet each month to create programs that help guide the work of the Chamber. We urge you to add your voice to our work as we build a dynamic new slate of Chamber events, activities, and programs to help us face the challenges and seize the opportunities that will strengthen your business.   

 




Finance Committee

The Finance Committee strives to ensure that the Chamber is fiscally sound and operates off of a functioning budget that adequately addresses the needs of the Board and Committees.  The Committee works to develop financial policies, create and monitor budgets, balance accounts, and provide fiscal reports to the Board.  Committee Chair: Marinda Lane
 

Membership Committee

The Membership Committee is the recruiting and volunteer face for the Chamber. The committee's members implement membership recruitment and retention activities that will attract new members, retain existing members, and engage all members.   Committee Chair: Marie Allen (252) 506-1592

Marketing Committee

The Marketing Committee works to create and implement a marketing plan that will enhance services to Chamber members, promote chamber events, and assist in membership recruitment and retention. Events Committee

The Events Committee plans & coordinates a variety of events throughout the year for members including but not limited to social events, training, business promotions, membership dinners, and appreciation events.  The events hosted by the committee support chamber recruitment & retention as well as the Gates County community.  Committee Chair:
