Planning & Development
Gates County Planning & Development encompasses Planning, Zoning, and Floodplain Management and administers various County Ordinances. These ordinances include local regulations relating to the subdivision of land, manufactured homes and home parks, and junkyards. Planning and Zoning is also responsible for the administration of the Zoning program, handles map and plat reviews, and is in charge of CAMA land use planning.
County advisory boards overseen by Planning & Development Technical Review Committee, the Board of Adjustment, and the Planning Board.
