Public Education

 

Public Education is the functional area devoted to education and instruction of residents and is primarily provided by a system of free, public schools throughout the State of North Carolina; public instruction is accomplished in Gates County by Gates County Public Schools.

 

 

The Gates County Public library is an institution concerned with literacy and life-long learning.

 

 

Post-secondary instruction, workforce development, and continuing education are all opportunities offered by the College of the Albemarle or Roanoke Chowan Community College.
