Public Hearing - Personnel Ordinance to Policy

PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
The Gates County Board of Commissioners will hold a Public Hearing on January 14, 2026, at 6:00pm in the Commissioners Chambers of the 1836 Historical Courthouse, 115 Court Street, Gatesville, NC 27938, to receive comments from the public regarding a proposed action to change the Personnel Ordinance to a Personnel Policy. This change would modify the manner in which personnel provisions are adopted and maintained by the governing body.
All interested are invited to attend and speak. Written comments may be submitted to Renee Draper at rdraper@gatescountync.gov before the hearing. The draft policy is available for review at www.gatescountync.gov and at the Clerk's Office at 115 Court Street Gatesville, NC 27938 during regular business hours.
